Lakkos Artist Residency Crete, Greece 2024

 

Lakkos Artist Residency on the Island of Crete is run by Mathew Halpin. Mathew, an artist from Australia, has been living on the island for fifteen years. Lakkos Artist Residency has been contributing to the enhancement of old city walls with public art. Not all artists create murals, as some are writers or working on other small projects. A public art piece here is the result of a collaboration with my fellow artist in residence, Arina Zhuravleva.
